July 16, 2015 Current, voltage and resistance readings from a functional Grandson of Zerobeat kit. With the kit powered with 9 volts and an active audio signal being fed into the kit (unless otherwise noted) here are the power supply current reading in mA: condition reading in mA all LEDs off (no audio connected) 3.6 1 LED on about 20 2 LEDs on " 30 3 LEDs on " 48 4 LEDs on (in theory, the maximum) " 63 With the audio input disconnected & kit powered with 9 Volts here are some coarse voltage readings, for the PIC and op amp pins with my DVM: PIC PIC PIC PIC pin # voltage pin # voltage 1 3 V (depends on pot setting) 18 2.5 V 2 5 17 2.5 3 3.7 16 5 4 5 15 5 5 0 14 5 6 5 13 5 7 5 12 5 8 5 11 5 9 5 10 5 op amp op amp op amp op amp pin # voltage pin # voltage 1 2.5 V 8 5 V 2 2.5 7 2.95 3 2.5 6 2.5 4 0 5 2.5 Here's some more data for the Grandson of Zerobeat. I removed the power and took the two ICs fron their sockets. Then connected my VOM ground to the Grandson of Zerboeat ground and measured the resistance on the PIC and op amp socket pins. readings are in kohms and again, are approximate.
